Since 1997, the Lincoln Park Conservatory Council has been working with the Chicago Park District to promote the appreciation, understanding and use of Chicago’s historic Lincoln Park Conservatory through development and funding of quality displays and programs. The Lincoln Park Conservatory Council is working to effectively program the Conservatory, such as the Thursday Evenings at the Hot House, which were a series of lectures, workshops and tours dedicated to getting close to the fascinating world of plants, behind the scenes, at the Lincoln Park Conservatory. Additionally, The Hot House Holiday Party, a festive winter fundraiser, which takes place in the Conservatory, has been a tremendous success for the past five years.

The mission of the Lincoln Park Conservatory Council is to promote the appreciation, understanding and use of Chicago’s historic Lincoln Park Conservatory through development and funding of quality displays and educational programs as well as position the conservatory as a premier sightseeing and tourist destination.

The Lincoln Park Conservatory Council is a council of the Lincoln Park Conservancy and the Chicago Park District.
