New Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool Hours - 7:30am - 7:30pm Every Day
Our mission is to preserve, restore and enhance the natural, historical and cultural assets of Lincoln Park through advocacy and the implementation of special projects. Our dedication to the park will remain the same.
As you can see, our new logo, designed by Kate Friedman, is a symbol of a major component of a park the tree. This logo shares much more, as it denotes growth and strength and reinforces our commitment to the greatest park in the world Lincoln Park.
The Conservancy remains committed to our councils growth and prosperity. By joining forces with the North Pond Conservation Council and The Lincoln Park Conservatory Council, the Conservancy will have a cohesive, streamlined strategy that will benefit Lincoln Park and be very important to our new and improved organization. Three solid grass-roots organizations now merged into one will continue to make a tremendous impact on the people we are targeting for our message and mission.
Lincoln Park Conservancy was founded in 1984 and during the past 19 years has successfully completed a number of park improvement projects. Our new name accurately reflects the organizations identity and desire to become a Conservancy for the Lily Pool and in the future for the entire park.
We still have the same devoted and all-volunteer Board of Directors. Their dedication is rooted in their passion and belief that public space, particularly Lincoln Park, is one of the most precious urban resources, essential to the communitys quality of life.
Our new name reflects the vision we have for the present and the future.
